Privacy Policy

Overview

Anaplan Connector for Sheets™ ("the Add-on") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we handle your data when you use our Google Sheets™ add-on.

Information We Access

• Google Sheets™ Data: Only the spreadsheets where you explicitly install and use the add-on
• Anaplan Credentials: Your Anaplan authentication tokens (stored securely in Google's Properties Service)
• User Email: Used for account identification, authentication, support, first-party product usage analysis, and enabled export notifications

Information We Store

• Configuration Data: Your Anaplan workspace/model selections, stored in Google Properties Service
• Schedule Settings: Export schedules you create, stored in Google Script Properties
• Authentication Tokens: Encrypted and stored in Google's secure Properties Service
• Server Processing: Google-hosted services process Anaplan queries and write results to the selected Google Sheet
• Operational Records: Account email/domain and usage metadata are retained in our Google Cloud project for support and product usage analysis. These are not third-party advertising records.

How We Use Information

We use your information solely to:

• Authenticate with Anaplan on your behalf
• Execute data exports from Anaplan to Google Sheets™
• Run scheduled exports at your specified times
• Send notification emails about export status (only if enabled)
• Provide requested AI analysis and model exploration
• Diagnose service failures and understand first-party product usage

Data Sharing

Data is processed by Google infrastructure to provide the connector. When you invoke an AI feature, the selected prompt and relevant context or query results may be processed by the configured AI provider. Claude handoffs are optional, require a configured connector, and involve a separate user action.

We do not use connector data for advertising or sell it to advertisers.

Data Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Authentication tokens are encrypted
• We follow Google's security best practices
• OAuth 2.0 is used for Anaplan authentication

Data Retention

• Saved connection and schedule configurations are retained in Google Apps Script storage until removed through the relevant controls
• Authentication tokens expire according to Anaplan's policies
• Logout clears authentication state; it does not delete server-side operational usage records
• Legacy usage records and aggregate account profiles do not currently have automatic expiry. Uninstalling the add-on does not delete these records; contact us to request their deletion.

Your Rights

You can:

• Remove the add-on at any time (Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons)
• Clear all stored credentials using the logout function
• Delete scheduled exports through the add-on interface
• Request data deletion by contacting us at ryan.domke@aplan4sheets.com

Google API Services User Data Policy

This add-on complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date.
